ELP/Hi 2: Who do you think you are?                                                                                                   

                                                                                                       

What do I need to complete?

You will produce a comprehensive study of an important person from the past. You should use the internet, resources from the Learning Centre, Local libraries etc, and if you can, visit the places they may have lived in, worked in or had an impact upon, collecting information and taking pictures. Use your initiative to complete the sections listed below on A4 paper.

Layout:

Front Cover

•·       Picture and name of the person

Introduction:

•·       Simple fact file to include name, date of birth, place of birth, country of origin and briefly

what they are known for.

Main Section:

•·       Write a summary of the period they were living through including pictures where possible.

•·       Write a summary of their early life before they became well known.

•·       A detailed description of what they became well known for including pictures where possible.

•·       Give an explanation of how their achievements might have influenced or changed society.

Conclusion

•·       A summary of why you think this person is important and should be remembered.

Bibliography

•·       List showing where you gathered your information from, e.g. Internet sites, names of books,

etc
